Improvements at the AK Steel International Maastricht Warehouse
Significant improvements to the sawing machines located at the AK Steel International Maastricht Warehouse.
AK Steel International B.V. is proud to announce that they, together with their suppliers, have recently implemented significant improvements at the Maastricht warehouse. Several modifications were made to the sawing machines and these will lead to more efficient and safer work processes.
Construction company Wishaupt has contributed by installing supports, enhancing overall safety and efficiency. With these supports, the saw machines can be cleared more quickly in a safe and secure manner for the next cutting task.
Van Hoorn Machining has installed drip trays as part of this initiative. These trays improve the collection of liquids used during the cutting process, eliminating the risk of spillage. This has a sustainable impact as there is no risk of contamination and a safety aspect as there is no risk of workers slipping due to spillage.
We are confident that these enhancements enable us to work in a safer, faster, and more sustainable manner.
