AK Steel International offers ARMCO® NITRONIC® 60 from stock, designed for heavy wear and direct unlubricated metal-on-metal contact.
ARMCO® NITRONIC® 60 is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel and unique in that it offers resistance to galling (cold welding), abrasion, fretting, cavitation erosion and high temperature oxidation.
Typical applications include valves, chains, and wear parts.
